2. Our games
Nocciolino & The Creamy Adventure
Nocciolino & The Creamy Adventure does not currently collect any personal data or usage data. If this changes in the future (for example with the introduction of analytics or online features), we will update this Privacy Policy before the change takes effect and, where required, ask for your consent.
Rocking Legend
Rocking Legend collects pseudonymous usage data, not linked to your identity, to help us understand how the game is played and improve it. We use Unity Analytics, provided by Unity Technologies, which processes this data on our behalf.
The data collected is:
- Gameplay events: when you start, complete or fail a level;
- Hardware information: the hardware you play with;
- Data added automatically by Unity: a randomly generated installation/player ID, platform, game version, country (derived from your IP address) and session events.
The installation/player ID is a persistent identifier, which is why this data is considered pseudonymous rather than anonymous under the GDPR. We do not collect your name or email address through the game, we do not use this data to identify you, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in analysing and improving our games (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time by contacting us at domurosoft@gmail.com. For more information, see the Unity Privacy Policy.
Rocking Legend also uses Steam features: online leaderboards, statistics and achievements, multiplayer lobbies and friends. These features use your Steam ID and profile name, which may be visible to other players (for example on the leaderboards), and are processed by Valve Corporation according to the Steam Privacy Policy.
Platforms and stores
Our games are distributed through third-party platforms such as Steam (Valve Corporation). Purchases, accounts, achievements and leaderboards are managed by these platforms under their own privacy policies; we do not receive your payment details. Campaigns on Kickstarter are likewise governed by Kickstarter’s privacy policy.
3. This website
The website is hosted on WordPress.com, provided by Automattic Inc., which processes data on our behalf. Through the website we may process:
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, used only to reply to your request (legal basis: your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email address is used to send you our news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email (legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Statistics and cookies: WordPress.com and Jetpack use cookies and collect aggregated statistics (such as pages visited and the type of device and browser) to run and secure the site and to measure traffic. For details, see the Automattic Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
4. Data sharing and transfers
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by the service providers mentioned above, some of which may be located outside the European Economic Area; in such cases transfers take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Data retention
Contact requests are kept for as long as necessary to handle them, newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and pseudonymous gameplay data for as long as it is useful for statistical analysis.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise your rights, write to domurosoft@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
7. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14 through the website. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy, for example when we add new features to our games. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
